One morning last week I walked into Tyler's room to see if he was awake and found him peeking his head over the crib rail . . . I was lucky that he was determined to stay put becasue it gave me time to grab my camera!

August & Kylie
These girls were so fun! They pretty much ran around for an hour and all I had to do was keep the camera glued to my face so that I wouldn't miss a thing. These pictures were taken at Woodward Park in Tulsa, OK.

Some of my personal favorites
These were both taken at Kali & Charlie's wedding rehearsal. The top photograph is of Charlie's niece Jordyn and the bottom photograph is none other then the GREAT Kari Herron (my other wonderful sister!).

The Blushing Bride
Kali . . . My gorgeous sister! I had the pleasure of photographing her last weekend. It was a very fun experience . . . mainly because my sister is one of the craziest people I know (in a very good way!) Her personality made my job very easy! Most of these pictures were taken in Downtown Northville, MI and my parents back yard.

First Newborn Shoot
This was the most eye opening experience I have ever had! I guess I thought it would be easy to do a shoot of an infant that just sleeps the whole time . . . lets just say it was slightly more complicated. None the less it was an incredible feeling to hand the proofs over and get a very positive response! There is no greater compliment.

My Story . . . So far . . .
I grew up in Livonia, MI . . . graduated high school in 2000. . . Graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2004 with a degree in Medical Technology and high aspiration to become a doctor. I moved to Tulsa to work in a hospital lab. I met my wonderful husband, Matt, and we got married in 2005. We had our 1st son, Tyler Cash, on Dec. 26, 2007 and our whole world changed! I went back to work after 3 months, but really began to feel as if I was not really doing what God had designed me to do. I have always loved pictures, but really found it hard to get someone else to create exactly what I had in mind. I think I might just be the pickiest person I know! So . . . a few months ago I got a new camera and I started following my 7 month old son around. I realized that I was having much more fun capturing moments of his life . . . so I started capturing other peoples moments. I absolutely couldn't love anything more.
I want to use this blog for a couple of things . . .
1) To share my work.
2) To share my experiences while I work.
2) To share my experiences while I work.
3) To help you create memories that will line your walls for decades!
